The True Sioux Hope Foundation is a nonproﬁt organization founded by American Indian, Twila True. Having spent her formative years on Reservations, Mrs. True knows ﬁrst-hand the courage that it takes to become a strong, independent, modern American Indian.
True Sioux Hope is born from the belief that with a little help, the strength and spirit of the great Sioux nation can thrive once again with pride and conﬁdence. By honoring and releasing the pain of the past, we can go on to create new opportunities for a brighter future.
True Sioux Hope plans to inspire unprecedented, permanent, positive change for the Sioux Tribe in South Dakota by providing much-needed funding for education and infrastructure. True Sioux Hope Foundation is a fundraising vehicle to provide grants and funding to highly vetted organizations already in place and well equipped to deliver the life-saving resources needed for the Sioux nation to not only survive, but thrive.
Established in 2010, the True Children’s Healing Home provides humanitarian aid to orphans in China. The Home is devoted to healing children with cleft lip and palate, plus a variety of other special needs, such as heart defects, prematurity, digestive disorders and failure to thrive.
Specially trained nannies nurture the children and provide them with the opportunity to grow, gain strength, receive surgeries, and recover in a safe, loving environment. Working together with social welfare institutions, the True Children’s Healing Home offers children the best possible opportunity for health and healing.
Love Without Boundaries provides the most loving and compassionate care possible to orphaned and impoverished children. Their comprehensive programs in China, provides medical care, foster care, education, and nutrition. Love Without Boundaries gives children a second chance at life and reminds them that they truly matter to this world.
